Dr. Rahul Seth is an Associate Professor of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. As a specialist of the face, he has expertise in facial gender affirming surgery, facial reconstructive surgery, microvascular surgery of the head and neck, cosmetic surgery of the face, rhinoplasty, facial paralysis surgery, and facial skeleton trauma and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Seth has been performing gender affirming surgery of the face (facial feminization / masculinization surgery) since 2015. He feels great joy, responsibility, and pride in providing this surgery to his patients and community. Dr. Seth creates a natural result guided by the patient’s own wishes and thoughts. He was recently recognized as Honorable Mention for the UCSF Exceptional Physician Award. His research has won several national awards and he has published numerous medical articles in his field.
Dr. Seth earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester. He completed a five-year surgical residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery (surgery of disorders of the face, head, and neck) at the Cleveland Clinic. He completed subspecialty training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California Los Angeles.
